ORAAD Need's You...

Greetings ORAAD Membership,

We have laid the framework now it is time to implement it! ORAAD has decided designate Fri-Sun for Free Thought Weekends where there will be no restriction on posts!  We are still using the group to collect data, and African Centered research material toward our Curriculum development for the Re-education Process, so Mon-Thurs the group will only be open to comments so that we can use this time to collect info from the weekend and add it in our data base, as well as promote our blog, page, website and other social media outlets where we encourage our members, allies, and skeptics to post freely! Please check out our website and use our live chat at your leisure ORAAD Worldwide Official Website

Please look out for our $3,000 Challenge where we will challenge our membership to pledge $1 or more from now until UJAAMA/Cooperative Economics Month June 5th where we will plan what to do with the funds we raised toward ORAAD's vision, mission, and objectives for benefit of the African Diaspora. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions please feel free to forward them to our e-mail oraad2012@gmail.com!

In Umoja (Unity),

    1. The same payout was given to slave-owners in the south in the late 1800's called the: "The District of Columbia Emancipation Act" It provided for immediate emancipation, compensation to former owners who were loyal to the Union of up to $300 for each freed slave, voluntary colonization of former slaves to locations outside the United States, and payments of up to $100 for each person choosing emigration. http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/featured_documents/dc_emancipation_act/

  7. Seems like a great thing. When I have time to come back I will peruse this very needful site. Prehaps we can team up for educational projects and share information for Cape Coast Ghana.
